Leaping into the new month, we still carrying on with our odd traditions at TOSOB, and it never gets any better to select another individual to represent the culture on a global scale.
Shying away from music production, we filter another aspects that gives a great contribution to the music industry in general, matter of fact, this is the engine that keep the boat alive, and those who do it better, not only give a perfect contribution, but they are the symphonical frontiers who do it with ease, those who speak with your soul and from the gathering, TOSOB recognizes Evo Devo.
From South Africa, a state or province called North West, best known to be one of primary contributors to deep house music, Evo Devo definitely needs a solid introduction. I once came across her selections after bumping into an online profile titled Surreal SESSIONS, of which she’s part crew of the movement with other several members, but what makes it stand out is how she’s contributing to music emphatically.
Surreal Sessions Part XXXI is her latest selection, and this comes from someone who has the amazing ability to synch with your aura for a stable hour without disturbance or prejudice, and this hits you hard given the fact everything is parallel to one another. The BPM, selection, the transition of tracks in between, if anyone in the underground also wears the crown with pride, Evo Devo is definitely keeping it shinning and glowing like a halo, and it best fits her.
Surreal Sessions is a hard hitter, but I tend to think Evo is pretty much the underdog who reminds you what’s it like to feel and heal through music, don’t get me wrong with other selectors, it’s just guns blazing and hard hitting music, but whenever I want to soothe out and unlock from the world, Evo is definitely commentary to the latter.
